DarkSky New York is a chapter of DarkSky International, dedicated to restoring the nighttime environment and protecting communities from the harmful effects of light pollution in New York State through outreach, advocacy, and conservation. Our mission is to raise awareness of the importance of dark skies for both human health and wildlife, and to advocate for policies that promote responsible outdoor lighting practices.
